On Wednesday, three minor boys from Ganesh Nagar of Ramantapur Area in Hyderabad went missing from their homes. One of the minors had withdrawn money using his father’s ATM card before leaving with his friends.
Shoba, an employee with a private company and a resident of Ganesh Nagar approached the Ramanthapur police on Wednesday evening, with a complaint that her son Sai (15) and his two friends had gone missing.
While Sai is in 8th standard, Nitish(16) is a student of 9th standard and the youngest amongst them, Vasant alias Tinku (13) is studying in 7th standard.
The three are neighbours and left home on Wednesday.

The parents meanwhile noticed that Sai had withdrawn Rs.50000 from his father account.
According to the police, Sai's mother, the complainant, suspected that the boys might have run away to Goa. Sai had gone missing last year too and had gone to Goa on a ‘pleasure trip’ without informing his parents.
With the help of the three set of parents, police have started examining CCTV footage from Secunderabad and Kachiguda railway stations, and also footage from the Jubilee Bus stand and MGBS Bus stands.
Though police have found certain visuals that showed the boys roaming near the Secunderabad and Kachiguda railway stations, they are yet to obtain any footage that shows them boarding trains.
When TNM contacted the Uppal DCP, he said that police were taking all measures to trace the three boys.
Along with examining the CCTV footage from across railway stations and bus stations, police have also put out appeals on social media for any information on the minors.
Uppal Inspector Narsing Rao however told TNM that one of the missing boys had called police station and said that they were in Bengaluru.
The inspector said that a special team was being sent to Bengaluru to trace the boys immediately.
