Many pointed out that he was the one who had proposed the idea of a Federal Front in the first place.
The move by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to skip the meeting of four non-BJP CMs, who extended their support to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's sit-in protest at the Lt. Governor's office, has raised eyebrows.
KCR was already in New Delhi at the time, as he had met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi a day earlier on Friday and is all set to attend a meeting of the NITI Aayog on Sunday.
Many took to social media, questioning his absence from the meeting, especially taking into account that he was the one who had proposed the idea of a Federal Front in the first place. "Interestingly KCR is not seen in the frame. He is in New Delhi right now," one user pointed.
Interestingly KCR is not seen in the frame. He is in New Delhi right now!

CM KCR, as always, plays safe. Talks about a new federal front but despite being in Delhi, stays away from joining his counterparts from 4 other states- when they visited #ArvindKejriwal's residence in solidarity. #4CMsAAPKeLiye— PAUL OOMMEN (@Paul_Oommen) June 16, 2018
Where is KCR. Why is he not there inspite of being in Delhi?

Telangana CM KCR also in Delhi but once again, he is missing from the #FederalFront show of strength against BJP & Centre. Interestingly, he was the one who proposed non-bjp & non-Congress front ahead of 2019. pic.twitter.com/KuwpEl98w8— SAKSHI KHANNA (@tweetsakshi) June 16, 2018

Kejriwal, along with Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Cabinet ministers Satyendar Jain and Gopal Rai, is camping at Raj Niwas since Monday demanding a direction to the IAS officers working in the Delhi administration to end their undeclared strike. He also wants the central government to approve his government's proposal to deliver ration to the poor at their houses.
The four Chief Ministers - West Bengal's Mamata Banerjee, Kerala's Pinarayi Vijayan, Karnataka's H D Kumaraswamy and Andhra Pradesh's N Chandrababu Naidu - dubbed it a 'constitutional crisis' and also accused the Central government of "restricting the federal system", terming it a threat to the nation."This is a constitutional crisis. But there should never be such crisis due to which a government and the common people have to suffer," said Banerjee at a joint press conference with Vijayan, Kumaraswamy and Naidu."We will tell the Prime Minister to intervene in this matter and solve it. Had the President been here, we would have told him too. This is a democracy and that is not how a democracy functions," she added.
In the evening, Banerjee attended a meeting at Andhra Bhawan with her counterparts Vijayan, Kumaraswamy and Naidu. The four Chief Ministers met shortly after Baijal declined permission to Banerjee to meet Kejriwal. She had planned to go to the protest site -- Lt. Governor's residential office -- along with Naidu.
However, they later visited Kejriwal's residence, where they met his wife and other members of his family.
Stating that both the BJP and the Congress miserably failed to address people's problems during last 70 years, KCR had earlier said that the front would trigger tremor in the national politics with its agenda for speedy development and for addressing the real issues of people.
