Ramya Krishnan in Tamil remake of 'Sailaja Reddy Alludu'

Ramya Krishnan is one of the finest artistes in the South Indian film industry. After playing lead roles in several movies, she shifted focus to character roles effortlessly and has been bagging some of the best in the industry. Her role in Baahubali will remain unforgettable. Bagging some very prestigious roles, she has recently landed on a very meaty role that will give her a wide scope for performance. According to reports doing rounds, Ramya Krishnan will be reprising the role done by Nadiya in the Tamil remake of Sailaja Reddy Alludu. Naga Chaitanya’s Sailaja Reddy Alludu is a Maruthi directorial. The film had Anu Emmanuel playing the female lead with the star cast also having Ramya Krishnan, Vennela Kishore, Kalyani Natarajan, Sharanya, Prudhvi, Raghubabu and Rahul Ramakrishna in important roles. While Gopi Sunder had composed the tunes for this entertainer, the camera was wielded by Nizar Shafi. This film released to good reviews last month and is now being remade in Tamil with Simbu reprising the role done by Naga Chaitanya in the original version. The shooting of this untitled flick is currently in progress at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Ramya Krishnan is known for her versatility in acting. She has acted in several languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. The actor’s career best will be her role in Baahubali which fetched her the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress – Telugu and Nandi Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Baahubali – the Beginning and Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress – Telugu for her performance in Baahubali – the Conclusion. Besides the remake of Sailaja Reddy Alludu, Ramya also has a slew of films including Tamil film Party, directed by Venkat Prabhu , Thiagarajan Kumararaja directorial Super Deluxe, Kathi's Dev and in Kannada Yash’s KGF awaiting release.
