The body of a girl was found under suspicious circumstances on PVNR Expressway in Hyderabad on Monday morning, police said.
The body of Kavya Sree, 22, a native of Karnataka who was working as a security employee in a company in IT hub Hitec City, was found with bleeding injuries on the head.
She was staying in Tejaswini Nagar in Attapur area in the city.
Her hand bag, footwear, mobile phone and identity card were found near the body.”
“A hit and run case has been registered. But we are still investigating in the case,” said Mohammad Javed, inspector of Lunger House police station.
The body was shifted to government-run Osmania Hospital for autopsy.
PVNR Expressway connects the city to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad.
